The best four barriques from our vineyards in Hattenheim and Hallgarten joined forces to yield this concentrated, ripe Pinot Noir wine. Aromas of berry fruit and spices complete the influence of oak by the French barrique.

The name Hendelberg could have as “Hindelberg” got its origin from a doe. This hillside is documented in 1418. Here grow heavy wines with great minerality, distinctive acidity and a slightly sweet smell of red fruits. A wine for high demands!

An absolute rarity and a diva as well. Yields from the Frühburgunder grape, an earlier ripening mutation of Spätburgunder, are always very low, not least due to the grape’s thin, sensitive skins. But under favorable conditions, it yields a wine that shows ripe fruit, complexity, and depth. After aging for at least ten months in barriques, the tannins are velvety and round out the wine’s texture on the palate.

Our entry into the world of Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) of Georg Müller Stiftung. Selective harvesting by hand, mash fermentation, produced 100 % in French barriques. The 2015 vintage gave us fantastic grapes full of aromas and velvety tannins.
