The Oestricher Riesling comes from vineyards of Lenchen (VDP.GROSSE LAGE) and Klosterberg (VDP.ERSTE LAGE). Compared to our hometown Hattenheim, the wines of Oestrich are delicately fruity and filigree, but very strong and with fine, integrated acidity.

In the glass, the wine shines golden-yellow with slightly greenish reflections. Aromas of quince, blossom honey, apricot and rosemary flow in the nose. Very intense and powerful, a nice interplay of fruit and herbs. The aftertaste is rounded off by the scent of freshly cut grass. The nuances are confirmed on the palate. Elegant sweetness, followed by herbal spice, very creamy on the palate. A little tangerine and a fine hint of grapefruit is added. The acidity is fresh and carries the green aroma that accompanies the wine towards the end.
