The inspiring painting “The Thirsty Society” by the Berlin artist Renata Tumarova is joined by an imposing dry Rheingau Pinot Noir, which has matured in the wooden barrel to its perfect, delightful bouquet. Typical varietal hints of fine fruity berry aromas with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon promise an elegant culinary experience. Wine and art are a wonderful reason for enjoyable moments. The label for our ART EDITION is designed by a different artist every year. For this we choose one of our best wines every year.
The Chinese “Fine Wine & Liquor Magazine” a magazine about wine and liquor focusing in China market since 2001 publishes an article about our winery.
This year, our VDP winery is in the spotlight of the “Vineyard Cup”. Our winemaker Tim Lilienström has managed to place two wines among the Top 3: The 2015 Hattenheim Wisselbrunnen and the 2015 Hallgarten Jungfer. The winning wines reached 95 and 97 points. For the “Vineyard Cup”, around 90 winegrowers from the German wine-growing regions had registered 240 wines – dry wines from white grape varieties, blind tasted and rated according to the 100-point scheme. The wine growing area Rheingau presents itself excellently and comes with four wines among the 10 best.
